The team put the final feather in their cap when they sailed to victory in the Greater Manchester Schools County Cup Final beating Chorlton High School 7-., with goals from Luke Rudden 2, Elvis Olanipekun, Lewis Gilchrist, Filip Lorkowski, Vashiko Dick and Ross Crowther.
Having not lost a match all season, despite playing against some very strong teams, the Boys Year 8 team were crowned the top team in the county.
Speaking about their achievement Head of PE Dave Hewitt, was quick to praise the boys “'This is a fantastic squad of young players who have worked hard all season to achieve their well deserved treble, the school is very proud of them.”
Mr Hewitt added “Football is extremely popular at Saint Paul’s, the pupils have a real passion for the game. The boys showed incredible skill and overwhelming energy throughout the season. They worked hard and got the result they deserved; they proved that they are the best!”
