b_270_0_16777215_0___images_stories_dated_2011_Sept_3rdsepmoney.jpgNew fortnightly drop-in sessions on a Wednesday morning have recently been launched by Willow Park’s Money Matters team to help residents get some answers to their money-related queries.

The new drop-in sessions is an expansion to the service which residents have been able to access for some time ensuring that help and advice is always readily available.

You can pop in to Willow Park’s new head office on Poundswick Lane without an appointment (although in some cases a further appointment may be necessary) to discuss matters such as:

• Welfare benefits
• Increases in the cost of living
• Gas and Electricity bills
• Getting help with debt problems
• Ways to reduce expenditure
• Help with banking or home contents insurance
• Ways to buy affordable furniture
• Help completing forms

The first drop in took place at the beginning of August and proved very popular. Further sessions will be run every fortnight on a Wednesday 9-12pm – next sessions scheduled for 14th and 28th September.
